Lynette looked up calmly.

Larry shifted beside them, already uneasy.

Bethany stepped closer, voice sharp.

Larry: “Bethany… maybe calm down.”
She ignored him.

People nearby started to notice.

3. Public Pressure
Bethany pointed, anger spilling over.
Bethany: “You act like you’re better than everyone—judging me every chance you get.”
Lynette exhaled slowly.
Lynette: “Sit down before you make a scene.”
Bethany laughed—too loudly.

Larry reached for her arm. She pulled away.

Bethany leaned in, fists clenched.
Lynette (low, cold): “This has gone far enough.”

5. Consequences
Bethany: “What are you doing?”
Lynette didn’t hesitate.
Lynette: “Calling the police.”
Bethany froze.
Larry: “Lynette, wait—let’s talk.”
Bethany: “No! Don’t stop this!”
The distant sound of sirens crept in—soft at first, then undeniable.
6. No Way Back
Red and blue lights flashed through the hospital windows.
Patients whispered. Phones came out.
Larry placed a hand on Bethany’s shoulder. She shook it off.
Lynette: “Actions always have consequences.”
Bethany stepped back, eyes locked on her.
Bethany (quietly): “This isn’t over.”
The sirens grew louder.
And everyone knew—whatever came next would change everything.
